Can Earley make a Hat Trick?
Deadeye Earley is moving up in the points. Can he make it a Hat Trick? It seems lady luck is on his side.
Paulie finally made it to the money. Show me the Money Paulie. Was it luck or did he get a few pointers. I personally think he is starting to get it. Watch out for the quiet one.
Chris has been in the middle of the pack. Is he going to break out and move up at his establishment or will he fall to the host curse.
Will Pat actually call and let someone know he is coming? or will he be too busy woking out the final details of St. Judes St. Patrick Day Beef and Beer on March 17th.
At the March 9th game, I have replaced the bounty chips with a new chip. This will help keeping them seperate from the money chips.
I got a Poker Rule book. Not only does it have hand rankings, but I found it very interesting that it also had button movement and poker etiquette. The name of the book is “The Rules of Poker – Essentials for the Every Game” by Lou Krieger and Sheree Bykofsky. It might be a good idea if you don’t know the rules to look them up. There are websites around that have them. http://www.pagat.com/vying/pokerrank.html#standard is a good website with the hand rankings. If you have a guest it might be a good idea to have them read it.
Can Earley Do it Again?
Well I didn’t make 5 in a row and Loose Molloy had a litte help from St. Jude with the magical Queens showing up on the Turn and the River to put me into forth place. But the big news was Earley coming back from a major short stack to beat JR in a tight back and forth race. This also helped him in the standings to 1 point be behind JR.
Friday is a new game and we get to break in JR’s new card room. The bathroom is on his neighbors front lawn so wear you coat when you go outside. The will be plenty of beef jerky and PBR.
With the new rule that the winner from last weeks game becomes the dealer, lets see if Earley can play cards and deal at the same time.
Paul will be late so he will be added in and blinded when it is his turn. This might help his game so let watch out for the underdog. Do you think he can pass Joe D in the standing, he has a good chance Friday since Joe D will be out dancing the night away.
